Los Angeles Unique Estate, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House
At DM Properties International we are proud to announce yet another splendid listing from the Christie’s Great Estates network, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Ennis House. Please, contact us if you are interested in learning more about this unique estate in Los Angeles, USA.

A crowning achievement of Frank Lloyd Wright’s textile-block design, the Ennis House is the largest and boldest execution of this iconic architectural style. The home is being jointly offered for $15 million by Hilton & Hyland and Dilbeck Realtors in Los Angeles, California, with international marketing services provided by Christie’s Great Estates.
Frank Lloyd Wright was one of America’s most prolific architects of the 20th century. Wright adopted the idea of “organic architecture” whose main principle was that the construction had to result directly from its natural surrounding. He opposed styles of architecture such as the Neo-classic and Victorian, which were imperative at the end of the 19th century and always emphasized that a building’s design must be related to its function, surroundings and the materials used in its construction. “The Ennis House was the last of four homes my grandfather designed in this style,” says Eric Lloyd Wright. “The home is a culmination of sorts, imbued with his ambition and confidence.”
“The perfect owner for this magnificent property is a person with a keen appreciation of outstanding architecture and the importance of preserving it like a piece of fine art,” says Kay Coughlin, President & CEO of Christie’s Great Estates. “The Ennis House deserves to be restored to its original brilliance. The person who undertakes the task will be helping to preserve Frank Lloyd Wright’s legacy, and in doing so, will create a legacy of their own which will endure for generations.”

Ingmar Bergman’s Estate
Diana Morales Properties is proud to announce that Christie’s Great Estates was chosen this past June to provide international marketing for the private residence of three-time Academy Award-winning director Ingmar Bergman.
The property is located in the stunning Baltic Island of Fårö off the coast of Gotland, Sweden, which offers a timeless breathtaking landscape with a mixture of rocky and sandy coasts, wild strawberries and red poppies and offering absolute tranquillity and privacy.
As the New York Times put it “Like Bergman, Fårö is remote. Getting to the island, off the eastern coast of Sweden, takes a plane, a train or a bus, a car and two ferries. Which is exactly what made it so appealing to the reclusive Bergman.”
Bergman first visited Fårö in 1960 while searching for a location to shoot “Through a Glass Darkly“. He was so enticed by the island that he decided to move there. The property was designed by architect Kjell Ambramson in close collaboration with Bergman himself. It was completed in 1967 and was the director’s getaway for nearly 40 years until he passed away last summer. Bergman used his home as the set for some of his most revered films, including “The Passion of Anna”, “Persona” or “The Shame”. Nearby is the city of ‘roses and ruins’, Visby, which offers great dining, romance and historic strolls and offers the perfect compliment to Bergman’s legacy in Fårö.
